L.A. residents don’t forget, next up is Shock and Awe: The Songs of Randy Newman, a tribute event at Royce Hall, UCLA Live, on January 24. It’s organised by Hal Willner and Gavin and Maurice will be performing three songs, as will a number of other artists. Tickets: $50, 45, 35 ($20 students).
