Dublin Docklands Development Authority in association with Note Productions presents ANALOG 18-20 July 2008

HAL WILLNER’S ROGUES GALLERY, the opening concert of ANALOG 2008 on Friday July 18 featuring TEDDY THOMPSON / WATERSON:CARTHY / GAVIN FRIDAY / DAVID THOMAS (PERE UBU) / JULIE FOWLIS / BABY GRAMPS / ED HARCOURT / RACHEL UNTHANK & THE WINTERSET…. AND MORE

“It’s a great honour to present Rogues Gallery, a collection of Sea Chanteys at the Analog festival – for the first time outside the USA.
Dublin’s Docklands, with its 300 year maritime history, is the ideal venue for our mutinous gathering. There’s always an anarchic energy and random beauty to these artist-led voyages: perhaps that’s what make them so special. So with that in mind, I’ve invited friends old and new to take part, some of whom appear on the album and other brave souls who decided try their hand at something new. The bill is still coming together but here’s a few names the whet the appetite, from what will inevitably be a cast of thousands: Teddy Thompson, Waterson: Carthy, Gavin Friday, David Thomas (Pere Ubu) Julie Fowlis, Baby Gramps, Ed Harcourt, Rachel Unthank & the Winterset.
More to come!”
