Moya Brennan

Clannad’s Moya Brennan (born Máire Ní Bhraonáin) is an Irish folk singer, songwriter and harpist. She released her first solo album in 1992 and enjoys a successful solo career while Clannad are on hiatus (since 1996). Moya has been nominated for two Grammys and has won an Emmy Award. She has recorded with many world-famous musicians and has provided music for several soundtracks, including Titanic, To End All Wars and King Arthur.

A frequent guest at Gavin’s Blue Jaysus club in the late 80s, she eventually worked with him on “catholic” providing backing vocals on “A Song That Hurts ” and “Lord I’m Comin'”.
